DEAR FUTURITY PARTICIPANT: The nomination deadline for foals of 2009 and stallions for the 2010 breeding season is rapidly approaching. We encourage you to contact the office if you have not received your nomination form. Remember you may also download the form from the web site. As you are all aware, the 2010 Kentucky National Horse Show will not be held at the Kentucky Horse Park due to the World Equestrian Games. We continue to search for other venues for the Int’l competition but it is a distinct possibility that we may not be able to hold the 2010 International Competition. However, we will have our regional competitions at the following shows: If we do not hold the 2010 International Competition we hope to approximately double the prize money for the three and four year old performance classes at each regional competition. This will, of course, be contingent upon the upcoming nominations. In regards to the upcoming nominations we would like to thank the owners of the following stallions for sending in their mares bred reports for the foals of 2009. Aaron’s Gold Please note that if your stallion does not appear on this list we need your list so that we may contact the owners of the mares which bred to your stallion. If you bred to a stallion that does not appear on this list (but IS IHF nominated) please call the office to receive the nomination information. Please note that the IHF Five Year Old Hunter Classic is being discontinued at all IHF competitions. The IHF was founded in 1985 and we plan to continue to promote hunter breeding and performance for many more years to come. With your nominations & support we feel certain that we can ensure that the program remains an important factor for the breeding and exhibiting of young hunters. Sincerely, |
